past and the program made a new profile for you.
get corrected when I update our master list. It takes awhile
to clean up following a race, but will get done in the next 24
hours, check back. Once you are highlighted you can look at
all MJs races and compare yourself to others.

Race Day Wrap Up
Thank you for coming out
to our 58th event. It was a great morning with mild temperatures.
Thanks for coming out. It is great to see everyone.
than a little less dew on the grass, I'm not
sure you could have asked for better race conditions on a mid August
Being a money race and that it
falls right before the school year helps create one of the most competitive
fields of all the races in the Roanoke Valley. This year the
course was in great shape.
As a race recap:
The race had a
wide range of ages from JR Cooper at 6 years of age to Ray Gilbarte at 76 years
old. There were 56 runners under the age of 18. 42
runners under 20 minutes.
record fell today,
ran a new masters record in a time of 16:49.3
Congratulations to all the first time racers and
newbies to Mountain Junkies events. I hope this race was a positive experience
and that you take on more challenges and hopefully more Mountain Junkies
races in the future.
Whether you are running competitively or just to finish,
participating in a race is a big deal and an accomplishment. You
did something that most people will never do. Way to go! Thank you for coming
