About the race
The Fab 5k is
about the flattest course you could create in SW Virginia. It winds
through the asphalt and gravel roads and onto some of the grassy fields
of Green Hill Park to make a very fast cross country course. It is
perfect for all levels of fitness from the elite runner to walker.

addition, this race is one of the few races in the area that gives out a
cash purse with $400 going to the top three male and
female finishers and overall masters winners ($100 for 1st, $50 for 2nd,
and $25 for 3rd and 1st Masters).
The top three finishers in each age
group will receive award recognizing their achievement.
