Course Info

Due to the size of this parking area, this race will be capped at 150 runners.

Price Mountain Trail and the entire Patterson Creek Area hold some great rugged trails that haven’t seen adequate trail work over the last few years.  We’ve been visiting and running these trails since Covid and would love to introduce more people to what they offer, tough rocky ridgeline running.

Just in 2026 we’ve put in over 100 hours of trail work on this trail system.  It’s in great shape and hosting this race will insure that it stays in good shape for years to come.

Course Description:
Big Price
– The course starts with a 1 mile climb and then runs up and down along the ridge until a great 2 mile downhill that will take you to Patterson Creek Road.  From here you will run 2.3 miles on a gravel road until you get to Kelly Trail.  This will take you on a 1.25 uphill back to the ridge where you will retrace your steps back to route 606 and the finish.  .

Make sure you carpool when you can and park closely to the person next to you.  The park has limited parking.

Small Price – 4.6 miles – Garmin Link
You will be doing this loop clockwise.  Starting at 606 you will head down the Sulpher Ridge Trail.  At 3.45 miles you will reach the ridge and the Price Mountain Trail.  Here you will take a RIGHT and head back to the Start / Finish for the remaining 1.25 miles.

Big Price – 14.2 miles – Garmin Link
Starting at 606 you will climb for the first mile and then continue for the full 7 mile Price Mountain Trail.  At the end of the trail you will come to Patterson Creek Road and take a LEFT.  You will be on this gravel road for 2.3 miles.  At that point you will come to Kelly Trail where you will take a left off the road and take this trail 1.25 miles up and back onto the Price Mountain Trail. At the ridge you will take a RIGHT and head back to the Start / Finish for the remaining 3.5 miles.  Yes, it will feel all UP hill until the last mile where you just drop off the mountain to the Finish.
