If a mass start isn’t possible due to Covid-19 guidance, the event will be chip timed at both the start and finish. The race will start in waves in order to spread runners out and eliminate the mass start. We will do our best to designate the waves by expected finish time or age group.
Awards will be done as soon as possible following the last finisher.
About the race
The Fab 5k is about the flattest course you could create in SW Virginia. It winds through the asphalt and gravel roads and onto some of the grassy fields of Green Hill Park to make a very fast cross country course. It is perfect for all levels of fitness from the elite runner to walker.
